Background:
Acinus peptide is applicable as a control peptide for blocking antibody binding.

Amino Acid Location
This peptide sequence is located at amino acids 1065 to 1080 of Human Acinus peptide.
Formulation
This peptide is formulated in PBS pH 7.2 (0.01 M Sodium Phosphate, 0.13 M NaCl) containing 0.1% bovine serum albumin and 0.02% sodium azide.
Storage and Stability
Store this peptide in working aliquots at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

Neutralization: The peptide may be used to neutralize the binding activity of Anti-Human Acinus (C--Terminus 1) (Leinco Prod. No.: A147) by incubation of an equal volume of the peptide and antibody for 30 minutes at 37°C for Western blotting experiments.
