Description

Background:

TNF Receptor-Associated Factor 3 peptide is applicable as a control peptide for blocking antibody binding in Western blotting.

Amino Acid Location

15 amino acids near the amino terminus of human TRAF3.

Formulation

This peptide is formulated in PBS pH 7.2 (0.01 M Sodium Phosphate, 0.13 M NaCl) containing 0.1% bovine serum albumin and 0.02% sodium azide.

Storage and Stability

Store this peptide in working aliquots at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

Neutralization: The peptide may be used to neutralize the binding activity of Anti-Human TNF Receptor-Associated Factor 3 (CT-2) (TRAF3) (Leinco Prod. No.: T285) by incubation of an equal volume of the peptide and antibody for 30 minutes at 37°C for Western blotting experiments.

Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
