Description
Specificity:
Rat Anti-Mouse CD11a (Clone FD441.8) recognizes an epitope on Mouse CD11a. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Antigen Distribution:
The CD11a LFA-1 antigen is present on >97% thymocytes, >95% blood lymphocytes, 79% bone marrow cells and certain lymphoma and macrophage-like cell lines.

Reporter Molecule:
DyLight® 650 conjugated antibodies absorb light maximally around 652 nm (± 4 nm) and fluoresce maximally around 672 nm. They are brighter than Cy5 and Alexa 647 conjugates plus, they typically give less background than Alexa 647 conjugates. DyLight® 650 antibody conjugates are the best choice for far red-emitting conjugates and for multiple-labeling detection with a confocal microscope. Formulation
This DyLight® 650 conjugate is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.
Storage and Stability
This DyLight® 650 conjugate is stable when stored at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.

Flow Cytometry: This antibody can be used at a concentration of ≤ 0.25 µg per 100 µl of whole blood (or per 1.0 x 106 cells in a 100 µl total staining volume).
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
