Description
Specificity:
Anti-PCNA (Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen) recognizes polymerase delta accessory protein (Mr 36 kDa).1,3 This auxiliary protein is also known as cyclin and experiments strongly suggest that PCNA is essential for cellular DNA synthesis.2,3
Antigen Distribution:
Anti-PCNA staining is almost entirely confined to the nucleus and may show a diffuse or granular pattern or a mixture of both. Dominant PCNA expression begins during late G1 phase and is present through S phase of the cell cycle.
Known Species Cross Reactivity: Ms+, Hu+, Rt+, All vertebrates and invertebrates
Host Species
Mouse
Immunogen
Rat PCNA made in the protein A vector pR1T2T
Formulation
This purified antibody is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.
Storage and Stability
This antibody is stable when stored at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.
