Specificity:
Rabbit Anti-Mouse CXCL1 recognizes Mouse CXCL1. This antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody was purified using a proprietary chromatographic technique that includes covalently immobilizing the antigen proteins or peptides to agarose based beads. This purification method enhances specificity, reduces nonspecific binding of extraneous IgG and provides you with the most reliable reagent available for your early discovery research.

Background:
Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 1 (CXCL1) is a small cytokine with mitogenic properties belonging to the CXC chemokine family that was previously called GRO1 oncogene, GROα, KC, Neutrophil-activating protein 3 (NAP-3) and melanoma growth stimulating activity, alpha (MSGA-α).1 CXCL1 is expressed by macrophages, neutrophils and epithelial cells.2 CXCL1 plays a role in spinal cord development by inhibiting the migration of oligodendrocyte precursors and is involved in the processes of angiogenesis, inflammation, wound healing.3,4

Formulation
This biotinylated antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody is aseptically filtered and lyophilized from PBS with no carrier proteins or preservatives added.
Reconstitution
Aseptically reconstitute this biotinylated antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody in sterile 1X PBS containing 0.1% BSA to a final concentration of 50 µg/ml.
Storage and Stability
This lyophilized biotinylated polyclonal antibody should be stored desiccated at -20°C. The reconstituted conjugate is stable for at least one month when stored at 2 - 8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid More Than One Freeze Thaw Cycle.
