Specificity:
Goat Anti- Armenian Hamster IgG (H&L) recognizes Hamster IgG heavy and light chains. This secondary antibody was purified using antigen affinity chromatography and adsorbed against serum proteins and immunoglobulins to minimize species cross-reactivity.

Reporter Molecule:
R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) has a molecular weight of 240 kDa and is purified from red algae. R-PE is an intensely bright phycobiliprotein with an absorption maxima at approximately 496, 546 and 565 nm, and a fluorescence emission maximum of ~578 nm.

Formulation
This secondary R-PE conjugate is formulated in 0.01M phosphate buffer pH 7.6, 0.25M NaCl, 1.5% w/v BSA and contains 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative.
Reconstitution
The lyophilized secondary antibody R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) conjugate should be reconstituted in 1.0 ml of deionized water. Gently vortex until the solution is clear. Centrifuge the conjugate if not completely clear and free of particulates.

Storage and Stability
This lyophilized secondary antibody conjugate should be stored desiccated at 2-8°C. The reconstituted R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) conjugate should be stored at 2-8°C. Do Not Freeze.
