Description

Specificity:

Goat Whole Molecule Anti-Mouse IgG (H&L) recognizes Mouse IgG (H&L). This secondary antibody was purified using antigen affinity chromatography and has been adsorbed against serum proteins and immunoglobulins to minimize species cross-reactivity.

Reporter Molecule:

DyLight® 594 antibody conjugates absorb light maximally around 593 nm (± 4 nm) and fluoresce with a peak around 618 nm. They are distinctly brighter than Alexa 594 conjugates, and much brighter and more water soluble than Texas Red conjugates. DyLight® is a trademark of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and its subsidiaries.

Formulation

This secondary antibody is lyophilized from 0.01M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.6 containing 0.25M NaCl, 15 mg/ml IgG free BSA and 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative.

Reconstitution

The lyophilized secondary antibody DyLight® 594 conjugate should be reconstituted in 1.1 ml of deionized water. Gently vortex until the solution is clear. Centrifuge the conjugate if not completely clear and free of particulates. After reconstitution, add an equal volume of ACS grade glycerol bringing the final concentration to 50% v/v.

Storage and Stability

This lyophilized secondary antibody conjugate should be stored desiccated at 2-8°C. The reconstituted DyLight® 594 conjugate containing glycerol should be stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer.

Applications and Suggested Working Dilutions

It is recommended that working dilutions be prepared fresh daily.

FC: 1:100 - 1:800
IF: 1:100 - 1:800

Secondary antibody concentrations reconstituted with glycerol will be diluted by 50%. Therefore, the working dilution may be one half of what is recommended.
