Description
Specificity:
Goat F(ab')2 Anti-Rat IgG (H&L) recognizes Rat IgG (H&L). This secondary antibody was purified using antigen affinity chromatography and has been adsorbed against serum proteins and immunoglobulins to minimize species cross-reactivity.

Reporter Molecule:
R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) has a molecular weight of 240 kDa and is purified from red algae. R-PE is an intensely bright phycobiliprotein with an absorption maxima at approximately 496, 546 and 565 nm, and a fluorescence emission maximum of ~578 nm.

Preparation:
This F(ab')2 secondary antibody was generated by optimal pepsin degestion of the antisera followed by antigen affinity chromatography to elimiate the presence of Fc fragment and whole molecules.

Formulation
This secondary antibody is formulated in 0.01M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4 containing 1.0% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.

This secondary antibody conjugate should be stored at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.
Applications and Suggested Working Dilutions
Leinco Technologies recommends using 0.25 micrograms to stain 1 X 106 cells for flow cytometry. However, we suggest that each investigator determine their own optimal titer for their specific research application.
