Specificity:

Goat F(ab')₂ Anti-Rabbit IgG (H&L) recognizes Rabbit IgG (H&L). This secondary antibody was purified using antigen affinity chromatography and has been adsorbed against serum proteins and immunoglobulins to minimize species cross-reactivity.

Reporter Molecule:

Rhodamine TRITC is a small fluorescent organic molecule with an absorbance maximum of 550 nm and an emission maximum at 570 nm.

Preparation:

This F(ab')₂ secondary antibody was generated by optimal pepsin degestion of the antisera followed by antigen affinity chromatography to elimiate the presence of Fc fragment and whole molecules.

Formulation

Goat F(ab')2 Anti Rabbit IgG (H&L)-Rhodamine is supplied in 0.01M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4, containing 1.0% BSA, 1.0% glycerol and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative. The specific antibody concentration of this conjugate is 1.0 mg/ml.

Storage and Stability

This secondary antibody conjugate should be stored at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.

Applications and Suggested Working Dilutions

Secondary antibody concentrations reconstituted with glycerol will be diluted by 50%. Therefore, the working dilution may be one half of what is recommended.
