Description
Specificity:
Rat Anti-Mouse CD90 (Clone HK2.1) recognizes the Thy-1.1 and Thy-1.2 alloantigens of all mouse strains tested. This antibody is reported to stimulate mouse T-cell proliferation.1
Antigen Distribution:
Anti-Mouse CD90 (Thy-1) is present on thymocytes, most peripheral T-lymphocytes, some intraepithelial T-lymphocytes, epithelial cells, fibroblasts, neurons and hematopoietic stem cells, but not B-cells of most mice tested.1,2
Known Species Cross Reactivity: Ms+
Host Species
Rat
Formulation
This biotinylated antibody is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.
Storage and Stability
This biotinylated antibody is stable when stored at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.
Reported Applications
IHC (Frozen), FC
Flow Cytometry: It is recommended to use the indirect method for signal enhancement when enumerating cells expressing CD90. A suggested method would be to stain cells expressing CD90 with 1.0 µg per 1 x 10
6 cells in a total staining volume of 100 µl followed by UltraAvidin™- R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) (
Leinco Prod. No.: A104).
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
