Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA; also known as enzyme immunoassay, EIA) is a technique used to detect and quantify proteins in a sample. In an ELISA, the target protein is immobilized on a microplate directly or indirectly using an antibody specific for the protein. The protein is then detected using ELISA antibodies conjugated to a reporter enzyme, such as horseradish peroxidase (HRP), and incubation with an appropriate substrate. Leinco Technologies offers a diverse selection of highly specific monoclonal and polyclonal ELISA antibodies in a range of different reactivity species, including human, mouse, and rat, that can be purchased separately for various steps of an ELISA. These include unlabeled primary antibodies for immobilization in an ELISA capture sandwich assay (ELISA Cap), unlabeled detection antibodies to be used with secondary antibodies (ELISA Indirect), and enzyme-conjugated or biotinylated detection antibodies (ELISA Det). We also offer optimized ELISA kits for sandwich ELISA using matched antibody pairs that recognize different epitopes on the same protein antigen.
