Description
Specificity:
Goat F(ab')2 Anti-Rabbit IgG (H&L) recognizes Rabbit IgG (H&L). This secondary antibody was purified using antigen affinity chromatography and has been adsorbed against serum proteins and immunoglobulins to minimize species cross-reactivity.

Reporter Molecule:
Texas Red is a small long wavelength fluorescent molecule with a molecular weight of 625 daltons with an absorbance maximum of ~589 nm and an emission maximum of ~615 nm.

Preparation:
This F(ab')2 secondary antibody was generated by optimal pepsin degestion of the antisera followed by antigen affinity chromatography to elimiate the presence of Fc fragment and whole molecules.
Host Species
Goat
Immunogen
Purified Rabbit IgG (H&L) (>98%)
Formulation
This secondary antibody is formulated inin 0.01M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4, containing 1.0% BSA, 1.0% glycerol and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative. The specific antibody concentration of this conjugate is 1.0 mg per ml.
Storage and Stability
Stable when stored at 2 - 8oC.Do not freeze.
Applications and Suggested Working Dilutions
The suggested working dilution for immunohistology is approximately 1:100. However, each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for each specific research application.
