Background:
Visceral adipose tissue-derived serpin (vaspin) is a novel adipokine related to obesity and its metabolic consequences.1 Vaspin is a member of serine protease inhibitor family.2 Its levels increase with hyperinsulinemia and obesity.3 vaspin exerts an insulin-sensitizing effect targeted toward white adipose tissues (WAT) in states of obesity.2

Storage and Stability
