Description
Background:
Bim peptide is applicable as a control peptide for blocking antibody binding in Western blotting.

Amino Acid Location
16 amino acids near the middle of human Bim.
Formulation
This peptide is formulated in PBS pH 7.2 (0.01 M Sodium Phosphate, 0.13 M NaCl) containing 0.1% bovine serum albumin and 0.02% sodium azide.
Storage and Stability
Store this peptide in working aliquots at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
Reported Applications
FC, N
Neutralization: The peptide may be used to neutralize the binding activity of Anti-Human Bim (Intermediate Domain-2) (Leinco Prod. No.: B460) by incubation of an equal volume of the peptide and antibody for 30 minutes at 37°C for Western blotting experiments.
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
