Leinco Technologies is seeking an outgoing Applications Scientist with a broad set of experiences in in vivo and in vitro applications including spatial biology/IHC, flow cytometry and pre-clinical studies. This position is focused on driving the scientific visibility and proof-points for our product portfolio related to cancer research, immunology and infectious diseases. This accomplished scientist has expert knowledge (theoretical and hands-on) of cell and tissue bioanalytical techniques and is adept at working independently to develop and implement the applications roadmap/scientific plans, drive scientific collaborations, and deliver scientific presentations to support our expanding portfolio and CDMO Services.

Leinco Technologies seeks an energetic, detail-oriented, Product In-Licensing Associate with a science degree and/or business background. With a sponge-like willingness to learn and a “can-do” spirit, this person will be focused on working closely with product management to drive the antibody in-licensing efforts for our antibody portfolio related to cancer research, infectious diseases, and immunology. Having an interest in continuously learning the business side of science, this person will be part of expanding the product portfolio and supporting high-growth areas in cancer, immunology, and infectious diseases research markets.

Primary Responsibilities:

● Product line tactics – working closely with product management and sales to identify and prioritize antibody in-licensing activities.

● Outreach to Technical Transfer Offices (TTOs) – organizing and implementing outreach to various TTOs.

● Competitive analysis – working with product management to analyze competitors’ portfolios for ongoing in-licensing opportunities.

● Collaborate with R&D and Commercial teams – tracking and implementing new in-licensing efforts.

Having an interest in continuous learning the business-side of science and about customers’ antibody needs, this person will be able to combine their lab experience with developing commercial plans to support these high growth areas of the market.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Product line strategy – implement short- and long-range product plans, goals, and objectives.
  • Commercialization efforts – executing on corporate strategy for target segments, develop value props, define marketing campaigns and sales enablement tools, and work directly with sales and marketing teams on campaign execution.
  • Voice of customer (VOC) – launch VOC efforts to gain a deep understanding of current and future customer applications and insights to determine in-licensing priorities, commercial plans, pricing, and business cases requirements.
  • Business drivers – define, implement and communicate key measures for overall commercial product health, and optimize based on results.
  • Competitive analysis – analyze competition and develop and utilize competitive intelligence to establish product positioning, sales force training and education.

Downstream processing scientists work on Antibody/Protein purification processes. This position is part of manufacturing and interfaces closely with our production team and regulatory department. In The scope of this role will be to lead and manage scale ups in manufacturing, lead investigations of product failures and product improvements, as well as improvement and optimization of the manufacturing processes and equipment.

Location of Position: St. Louis, MO 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process purification including Protein A/G, IEX, and SEC chromatography of antibodies or proteins.
  • Filtration experience dead end, flat sheet and Cartridge.
  • Bioprocessing equipment experience such as the AKTA Prime purification systems and/or FPLC
  • Analytical testing using SDS-PAGE, ELISA, endotoxin assay, western blots, etc.
  • Working within a quality system, process validation, risk assessments, and characterization documents in line with our ISO9001.2015 standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement process data monitoring and process maintenance.
  • Experience in immunoassays such as ELISA and western blotting preferred.
  • Maintain technical information and operational records.
  • Work with Development, QA, Mfg floor to ensure SOP’s accuracy and usage

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Chemical engineering, biochemistry, chemistry or a related field and 4+ years of experience.
  • A masters’ degree in Chemical engineering, biochemistry, chemistry or a related field and 2+ years of experience optional.
  • GMP and ISO Standard experience minimum 2 years’ experience.
  • Validation, verification, and change control minimum 2 years’ experience.
  • Knowledge of immunoassays is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to succeed in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral skills are necessary..
  • Ability to accomplish goals under project team timelines
  • Exhibit a strong attention to detail and documentation control.
  • Able to work independently performing complex experiments with minimum supervision at times.
