The assays serve to demonstrate contact with the pathogen and can be used, in combination with the SERION ELISA classic Bordetella pertussis IgA, IgG and IgM tests, for the differential diagnosis of pneumonia. SERION ELISA classic Bordetella pertussis Toxin IgG is a quantitative and qualitative test for the detection of human antibodies against Bordetella pertussis Toxin in serum or plasma. Product is intended for research use. NOTE: Pretreatment of samples with RF-Absorbent (Z200) is recommended for use with IgM ELISA kits to eliminate presence of sample rheumatoid factors and possible false negative results.
