Product DetailsFormula UltraWash™ Buffer - PBS 20X is a phosphate buffered saline 20X concentrate solution containing a surfactant and ProClin-3000 as a preservative. Storage and Handling The undiluted solution should be stored at room temperature for long term storage to avoid salt crystallization. Handle product aseptically to avoid risk of contamination. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Country of Origin USA Expiration Date Stable for a minimum of 1 year from the date of manufacture when stored at room temperature. DescriptionBackground UltraWash™ Buffer - PBS 20X aids in lowering background noise. It is used in assays to wash and reduce nonspecific or unbound antigen/antibody, enzyme conjugate, sample and standard from the surface of substrate involved in ELISAs. Directions for Use Preparation - If crystals appear during storage, warm the buffer by placing at 37°C with occasional mixing until clear. Add UltraWash™ Buffer - PBS 20X with nineteen (19) of deinoized water and mix well before use.
Use - For use as an ELISA wash buffer, wash each well of microplate with 300 μl of 1X UltraWash™ Buffer - PBS using a manual squirt bottle, manifold dispenser, or autowasher leaving the 1X UltraWash™ Buffer - PBS in each well for 30-60 seconds. Complete removal of liquid at each step is essential for good performance. After the last wash, remove any remaining wash buffer by aspirating or decanting. Then, invert the plate and blot it against clean paper toweling. Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications. See directions on lot specific datasheets, as information may periodically change. Related Protocols |
