BackgroundHuman Adenoviruses can cause different diseases, including respiratory diseases and diarrhea. The native antigen consists of the Adenovirus Type 2 hexon, strain Adenoid 6, and is produced by cultivation of Adenovirus in HEp2 cells. Protein DetailsFormat Liquid State of Matter Liquid Formulation 30 mM Bis-Tris Propane buffer at pH 6.8 containing sodium chloride. Product Preparation Adenovirus infected cells are lysed, solvent treated to remove cellular components and ultracentrifuged to remove whole virus particles. Hexon antigen is purified from the centrifugation supernatant by ion exchange chromatography. The antigen is presented in 30 mM Bis-Tris Propane buffer at pH 6.8 containing sodium chloride.
