Description

Specificity
Anti-Tramadol (clone TRAM-8804) is specific for tramadol. Tramadol - 100%
Background
Tramadol, a centrally-acting analgesic opioid, is commonly prescribed for the management of moderate to moderately severe pain. Tramadol exerts its analgesic effects through a dual mechanism of action: it binds to mu-opioid receptors and inhibits serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake. This unique combination makes tramadol effective in addressing both nociceptive and neuropathic pain. In 2014 it was listed as a Class IV drug by the FDA due to its high potential for misuse and abuse, particularly in individuals with a history of substance abuse.
