Description

Background
UltraWash™ - Tris 10X Concentrate contains 0.5% Tween 20 which has no net charge, preventing interaction with immunoassay reagents and solid surfaces.
Benefits
Reduce Background – Reduces nonspecific binding by reducing unstable hydrophobic bonds between immunoassay reagents. Tris buffer is preferred when working with blood or tissue samples due to phosphate buffers’ tendency to form complexes with calcium and magnesium ions.
Extended Shelf Life – UltraWash™ - Tris is stable for a minimum of 3 years from the date of manufacture when stored at 2° - 8°C.
Ease of Use – Simply add 1 part UltraWash™ - Tris to 9 parts high purity deionized water. Following dilution, the buffer is ready to use.
Directions for Use
Preparation: Add 1 part UltraWash™ - Tris to 9 parts high purity deionized water and mix well. Allow working solution to equilibrate to room temperature (25°C) prior to use. To minimize the risk of contamination, a fresh working solution should be made each day. If aseptic technique is used during preparation, unused working solutions may be stored at 2° - 8°C.
Use: Cover target surface and incubate for several minutes. Aspirate or dump solution and repeat the wash step as necessary. Wash times should be optimized by each investigator for their specific applications.
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications. See directions on lot specific datasheets, as information may periodically change.
