Description

Specificity
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody specific to DENTT
Background
DENTT (Differentially Expressed Nucleolar TGF-β1 Target) protein is a gene product expressed in several normal tissues with the highest level of expression in brain. DENTT is involved in responses mediated by TGF-β1 and has distinct domains for direction to different subnuclear locations.

Function
Part of the CASK/TBR1/TSPYL2 transcriptional complex which modulates gene expression in response to neuronal synaptic activity, probably by facilitating nucleosome assembly. May inhibit cell proliferation by inducing p53-dependent CDKN1A expression. {PubMed:11395479, PubMed:17317670}.
