The assays are recommended for the diagnosis of tularemia, to monitor the success of vaccination, to determine the immune status as well as for epidemiological studies. SERION ELISA classic Francisella tularensis IgG and IgM are qualitative and quantitative tests to detect human antibodies in serum or plasma to the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) of Francisella tularensis. Product is intended for research use. NOTE: Pretreatment of samples with RF-Absorbent (Z200) is recommended for use with IgM ELISA kits to eliminate presence of sample rheumatoid factors and possible false negative results.
