DetailsTissue Type Tonsil Diagnosis Normal Preparation Tonsil tissue lysate was prepared by homogenization in lysis buffer (10 mM HEPES pH7.9, 1.5 mM MgCl2, 10 mM KCl, 1 mM ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, 10% glycerol, 1% NP-40, and a cocktail of protease inhibitors). Tissue and cell debris was removed by centrifugation. Protein concentration was determined with Bio-Rad protein assay. Safety Testing This material has been tested by accepted techniques and has been found to be negative for HBsAg, HIV 1/2, and HCV. Additional patient information may be available upon request. Host Human Concentration 2.0 mg/ml Formulation The lysate was boiled for 5 min in 1 x SDS sample buffer (50 mM Tris-HCl pH 6.8, 12.5% glycerol, 1% sodium dodecylsulfate, 0.01% bromophenol blue) containing 50mM DTT. Expiration Date Six (6) months from date of receipt Storage This lysate should be aliquoted in working amounts. For continuous use store at 2-8°C, for longer term storage up to six months freeze at -80°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. Applications and Suggested Working Dilutions This lysate is for use in Western blotting, 10 µg to 20 µg per lane is recommended for mini gel. |
