The genus Borrelia burgdorferi includes, among others, the human pathogenic species B. afzelii and B. garinii.

Phosphate buffered saline containing 1 % n-octyl-Beta-D-glucopyranoside.

Harvested bacteria are washed and detergent solubilised to produce a cytoplasmic extract enriched with lipoproteins and outer surface proteins (OSPs). The antigen is presented in phosphate buffered saline containing 1 % n-octyl-Beta-D-glucopyranoside.

Store at -65°C or lower. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Sonicate before use. 10 years from date of manufacture (under recommended storage conditions).
