FSME/TBE (Tick-Borne Encephalitis) Virus Antigen (BA112VSL)

The Tick-borne encephalitis Virus is a member of the genus of Flaviviruses and related with other Flaviviruses such as Dengue, Zika or the Hepatitis C Virus. The virus is transmitted via a tick bite and can cause a severe encephalitis in humans.

Production of the two different offered TBE antigens the Tick-borne encephalitis Virus (strain Moscow B-4) is cultivated in Vero cells and the virus is purified by centrifugation or centrifugation and further size exclusion chromatography (premium antigen). The antigens are suitable for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies against TBE.

Store at -65°C or lower. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Sonicate before use. 10 years from date of manufacture (under recommended storage conditions).
