This peptide is formulated in PBS pH 7.2 (0.01 M Sodium Phosphate, 0.13 M NaCl) containing 0.1% bovine serum albumin and 0.02% sodium azide.

Store this peptide in working aliquots at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

Interleukin-27 (IL-27) is a novel IL-12 family member that plays a role in the early regulation of T helper cell 1 initiation, including induction of T-bet and IL-12 receptor beta 2 expression.¹ IL-27 is produced by antigen-presenting cells² and plays an important function in regulating the activity of B and T lymphocytes.3 IL27 may be a potential therapeutic agent against rheumatoid arthritis (RA) at the onset of the disease.⁴
