Human Parainfluenza Viruses are a group of four viruses belonging to the Paramyxoviridae family and they can cause severe respiratory infections in immune suppressed people.

Parainfluenza Virus Type 2 (strain Greer) is cultivated in cell culture (Vero or MDCK cells) and purified by extraction in combination with ultra-centrifugation (Parainfluenza Virus Type 2). Native antigens are suitable for the detection of IgG and IgA antibodies against Parainfluenza.

Store at -65°C or lower. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Sonicate before use. 10 years from date of manufacture (under recommended storage conditions).
