Antibody DetailsProduct DetailsReactive Species Human Host Species HEK-293 Immunogen CCL5 synthetic peptide EYFYTSGK Product Concentration ≥1.0 mg/ml Purity ≥90% monomer by analytical SEC Formulation This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added. State of Matter Liquid Product Preparation Purified antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only in vitro protein free cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates. Storage and Handling This antibody may be stored sterile as received at 2-8°C for up to one month. For longer term storage, aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at ≤ -70°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. Regulatory Status Research Use Only Country of Origin USA Shipping 2 – 8° C Wet Ice Additional Applications Reported In Literature ? Immuno-MRM Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications. See directions on lot specific datasheets, as information may periodically change. DescriptionDescriptionSpecificity FSAI157-2H5 activity is directed against CCL5 peptide sequence EYFYTSGK. CPTC Clone ID CPTC-CCL5-2 Background Chemotactic cytokines, along with their GPCR receptors, play important roles in regulating
lymphoid tissue development, immune homeostasis, and inflammatory responses by directing
leukocyte migration into injured or infected tissues1. Additionally, chemokine signaling in the
tumor microenvironment contributes to tumor cell proliferation, migration, invasion,
angiogenesis, evasion, and resistance to immune checkpoint inhibitors. CCL5 is an inflammatory chemokine that plays important roles in inflammation, immune response, antigen presentation, pathogen elimination, angiogenesis, and tumorigenesis2. CCL5 controls immune cell migration and recruitment in basal and inflammatory environments. CCL5 functions by binding its receptors GPR753, CCR1, CCR3, CCR4, and particularly CCR5, with which it functions in viral infection (HIV and Covid-19), inflammation and inflammatory disease, cancer progression, and immune response4. CCL5 has been proposed as a target of cancer immunotherapy and as a predictive biomarker for immune checkpoint inhibitor treatment2. Other small molecule inhibitor strategies are also being investigated4. FSAI157-2H5 was generated in mouse for use in immuno-MRM assay using a synthetic peptide derived from human CCL5, EYFYTSGK5. FSAI157-2H5 does not detect CCL5 by reverse phase protein array or Western blotting6. https://antibodies.cancer.gov/detail/CPTC-CCL5-2#CPTC-CCL5-2 Antigen Distribution CCL5 is expressed by T cells, monocytes, epithelial cells, fibroblasts,
thrombocytes, and natural killer cells. Ligand/Receptor CCR1, CCR3, CCR4, CCR5 NCBI Gene Bank ID UniProt.org Research Area COVID-19 . Immuno-Oncology .
