Anti-Human CD13 – APC

This Allophycocyanin (APC) conjugate is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.4, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.

This APC conjugate is stable when stored at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.

Mouse Anti-Human CD13 (Clone 22A5) recognizes Human CD13. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype. Specificity: Anti-Human CD13 recognizes the (Mr 150-170 kDa) cell surface glycoprotein expressed in a pan-myeloid fashion. This antibody also reacts with osteoclasts in giant cell tumors of bone (osteoclastoma), clear cell chondrosarcoma and aneurysmal bone cysts.¹

The CD13 antigen is present on most cells of myeloid origin, including granulocytes and monocytes in normal peripheral blood. CD13 is not expressed on B-cells, T-cells, platelets or erythrocytes. Expression of this antigen is greater on monocytes than on granulocytes.
