Purified Recombinant Human CCL25 (>98%)

This monoclonal antibody has been 0.2 µm filtered and lyophilized from modified Dulbecco's phosphate buffered saline (1X PBS) pH 7.2 - 7.3 containing 5.0% w/v trehalose with no calcium, magnesium or preservatives present.

The lyophilized antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for up to twelve months. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.

Neutralization: This antibody is useful for neutralization of Human TECK bioactivity. The antibody dose required to neutralize 50% (ND₅₀) of the biological activity of Human TECK (at 3.0 ng/ml) is 3 - 12 µg/ml.

Mouse Anti-Human Chemokine (C-C Motif) Ligand 25 (CCL25) (Clone 52513) recognizes an epitope on Human CCL25. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 25 (CCL25) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as TECK (Thymus-Expressed ChemoKine). CCL25 is believed to play a role in the development of T-cells.¹ It is chemotactic for thymocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. CCL25 is expressed in the small intestinal epithelium and plays an important role in mediating lymphocyte recruitment to this site.² CCL25 is also highly expressed in the thymus, where it binds to its receptor CCR9 on thymocytes promoting migration and activation.³
