Description

Specificity
Anti-Human HLA-DR recognizes the HLA-DR class II major histocompatibility antigen. HLA-DR is a transmembrane glycoprotein composed of alpha and beta subunits with molecular weights of 36 kDa and 27 kDa, respectively.1 Anti HLA-DR (Clone L243) reacts with a monomorphic determinant and does not cross react with HLA-DQ or HLA-DP.2
Antigen Distribution
The HLA-DR antigen is present on B-lymphocytes, activated T-lymphocytes and activated natural killer (NK) lymphocytes. This antigen is also expressed on monocytes, macrophages, human progenitor cells and B-cell lymphomas.
