Background TNF-ligand-related molecule 1A (TL1A), is an endothelium-derived T cell costimulator and a ligand for tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily members DR3 and decoy receptor 3.1 TL1A binds to the death-domain receptor (DR)3 and provides costimulatory signals to activated lymphocytes.
