Description

Description

Specificity
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody specific to Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3
Background
Macrophage inflammatory protein-3 (MIP-3β), also referred to as CCL19, is a small cytokine member of the chemokine family. MIP-3β is expressed at high levels in thymus and lymph nodes, at moderate levels in trachea and colon, and at low levels in stomach, small intestine, lung, kidney, and spleen. MIP-3β exerts its effects on its target cells by binding to the chemokine receptor CCR7 and attracts dendritic cells and antigen-responsive B cells.
