Recombinant Human CCL1

Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 1 (CCL1) is a small glycoprotein secreted by activated T cells that belongs to a family inflammatory cytokines known as chemokines.¹ CCL1 attracts monocytes, NK cells, and immature B cells and dendritic cells by interacting with a cell surface chemokine receptor called CCR8.² CCL1 may play a role in lymphocyte recruitment in bronchial asthma.³

The biological activity of Human I-309 was determined by by its ability to chemoattract mouse BW5147 cells or hCCR8 transfected BaF/3 cells. The expected ED₅₀ for these effects are typically 3 - 9 ng/ml and 1.5 - 7.5 ng/ml, respectively.

This recombinant protein was lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in 35% acetonitrile (CH₃CN) and 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid (TFA).

This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°C to 8°C for one month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
