applications. Country of Origin USA Shipping Next Day 2-8°C Applications and Recommended Usage? Quality Tested by Leinco Immunoblotting: use at 1ug/mL. A band of ~48kDa is detected.
Positive control: heat-shocked HeLa cell lysate. These are recommended concentrations. Endusers should determine optimal concentrations for their applications. Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications. See directions on lot specific datasheets, as information may periodically change. DescriptionDescriptionSpecificity This antibody recognizes human
EndoPDI. Background Endothelial protein disulfide isomerase (EndoPDI) is a thiredoxin member of the protein disulfide isomerase family of chaperones. This enzyme is localized in the endoplasmic reticulum in primary endothelial cells but colocalizes with nucleoli in the nuclei of breast, colon, and kidney cancer cells. EndoPDI mRNA and protein expression is iduced by hypoxia and exhibits a protective effect on endothelial cells during hypoxia. Function Possesses thioredoxin activity. Has been shown to reduce insulin disulfide bonds. Also complements protein disulfide-isomerase deficiency in yeast (By similarity). {ECO:0000250}.
