Anti-Human CD22 – PerCP

This PerCP conjugate is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.

This PerCP conjugate is stable when stored at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.

Mouse Anti-Human CD22 (Clone RFB-4) recognizes an epitope on Human CD22. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

The CD22 antigen is expressed on >90% of peripheral blood B-cells.¹ This antigen is not present on T-cells, monocytes or macrophages. CD22 is expressed on most peripheral B-cell lymphomas and leukemias including hairy cell leukemia, but not on the immature bone marrow type of leukemia.

Cluster of differentiation 22 also known as CD22 is a B-cell-restricted transmembrane protein, which acts as a negative regulator of B-cell signalling. CD22 also has lectin-like adhesive properties.¹ CD22 is a good target to shorten the time required for Ab production, thereby augmenting host defense against acute infectious diseases as "universal vaccination."²
