DescriptionDescriptionSpecificity 1B4 activity is directed against mouse TIGIT.
Background TIGIT is an immunoreceptor that functions as an immune checkpoint, inhibiting essential responses such as T cell priming by dendritic cells and the tumor-killing capacity of NK and cytotoxic T cells, while simultaneously enhancing the suppressive activity of regulatory T cells. Given its role in suppressing anti-tumor immunity, TIGIT is a prominent target for cancer therapy, particularly when modulated alongside the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway to promote tumor suppression. NOTE: To facilitate the study of this target in in vivo and live animal models, the 1B4 antibody can be conjugated to CF®700, CF®750, or Leinco NIR-SHEILD aa high-performance near-infrared (NIR) dye. Utilizing a NIR probe's is highly beneficial for tumor imaging because the longer emission wavelengths minimize tissue autofluorescence and maximize light penetration depth in live specimens, allowing for more accurate, non-invasive tracking of TIGIT-expressing cell populations within the tumor microenvironment. Antigen Distribution TIGIT is expressed on NK cells, activated T cells, memory T cells, and a
subset of regulatory T cells.
