Goat F(ab’)₂ Anti-Rabbit IgG (H&L) (Adsorbed Against: Hu., Bv.) – Alk Phos

Purified Rabbit IgG (>98%)

This secondary antibody is formulated in 0.05M Tris buffered saline pH 8.0 containing 0.001M MgCl₂, 0.001M ZnCl₂, 1.0% BSA, 50% glycerol and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.

This F(ab')₂ secondary antibody was generated by optimal pepsin degestion of the antisera followed by antigen affinity chromatography to elimiate the presence of Fc fragment and whole molecules.

This secondary antibody conjugate should be stored for up to 4 weeks at 2-8°C. However, for long term storage, aliquot into working volumes without dilution and store at –20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

The suggested working dilution for immunohistology is approximately 1:150. However, each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for each specific research application

Goat antibodies to rabbit IgG heavy and light chains are digested into F(ab')2 fragments using pepsin and then adsorbed against human serum proteins to minimize cross reactivity to human proteins.
