Clone DREG56 recognizes an epitope on human CD62L.

CD62L antibody, clone DREG56, recognizes CD62L, also known as L-selectin or LECAM-1, a 74-95 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein and cell adhesion molecule expressed on most circulating leukocytes¹. Ligands for CD62L include CD34, GlyCAM-1, and MAdCAM-1, which require sialyation, fucosylation, and carbohydrate sulfation for recognition^2,3. Ligand binding mediates tethering and rolling of leukocytes, facilitating entry into secondary lymphoid organs, including lymph nodes and Peyer’s patches, via high endothelial venules (HEVs)¹. CD62L is also expressed on human embryo trophoblasts and has been proposed to play a role in human embryo implantation^4.

CD62L is expressed on most circulating leukocytes, including neutrophils, monocytes, T, B and NK cells, and human embryo trophoblasts.
