Description

Description

Specificity
Clone 2.4G2 recognizes the FcγIII and FcγII receptors.
Background
Clone 2.4G2 specifically recognizes mouse CD32 (FcγRII) and CD16 (FcγRIII), which are low-affinity Fc gamma receptors. These receptors play a critical role in the adaptive immune response by binding antibody-antigen immune complexes to modulate phagocytosis, signal transduction, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC).

Because these receptors are widely distributed across various immune cells, Clone 2.4G2 is highly sought after as a crucial Fc block reagent to eliminate non-specific background staining in flow cytometry.

Target Antigens: Mouse CD32 (FcγRII) and CD16 (FcγRIII)

Alternative Names: Fcγ II/III Receptor

Cellular Distribution: Expressed on B cells, monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, neutrophils, mast cells, and dendritic cells.

Primary Applications: Flow Cytometry (FC) and Functional Assays (FA). Ideal for blocking non-specific Fc-receptor binding.
Antigen Distribution
These receptors are present on B cells, monocyte/macrophages, NK cells, neutrophils, mast cells and dendritic cells.
